Well, we're headed off to Utah today.
Gonna stop in IF first, go to where I used to live and pick up my last paycheck that Sams Club mailed to my old address rather than the new one I gave them when they called.
Oh well.
Then we're going to finally go to Olive Garden for lunch!
Yay!
I've really been missing their breadsticks.
We'll probably drive to Jenna's and hang out there for a bit. I'm not sure when Brad's dad and sister will be there, so I don't know if we can stay at Jenna's tonight, or if i'll need to call up my aunt and see if we can stay there tonight.
Well, we'll see.
Should be a nice little weekend away from the apartment that we rarely leave.
Tomorrow my cousin is getting married, so that's pretty exciting!
We're the same age, got engaged around the same time and got married around the same time!
Pretty crazy.
We'll probably head back up here on Saturday or Sunday morning.
I don't know.
We never really make plans in advance.
And now Brad is going to play a video game right in front of me, so that's my cue to leave.
Adios!

Our First Apartment
Well, since I think things have finally been settled and since I stayed up all night cleaning since I couldn't fall asleep, I decided to finally take some pictures of the apartment and put them up.
I already put these up on Facebook, but because you are reading my blog, you get your own personal written commentary!
Enjoy!
:D

There's the couch without the pillows. One of my favorite areas is in this picture: The DVD bookcase! I love movies! Haha. Anyways, I alphabetized them all, obviously. On top of the case is our still empty photo frame. I just ordered some 5x7 pictures to put in it, so this frame should be full in a couple days! Yay!

I wish the trash bag hadn't been in the picture, but I took these pictures this morning and we didn't take the trash out until after I was done taking pictures and we left for breakfast. Anyways, there's our little table that we never really eat at. Probably because Brad's laptop takes up most of the table and he is ALWAYS on it.

On to the best room of the house, the KITCHEN! It's so stocked in there with pots and pans and dishes, it's ridiculous.

On in to the bedroom. This is right behind the bedroom door. Since we got the apartment furnished, it came with this huge desk in our room, and it's pretty beat up, but handy. That TV was the one that came with the apartment and was in the living room. Next to it is my amazing Desktop! I love my desktop computer, you have no idea!

This picture is kind of random, because it doesn't really show anything. I just wanted you to get a feel of the whole place. Haha. There's our hamper. My purses. The bookshelf with not very many books on it (the rest are in storage), a barbie, our cake topper, and a couple picture frames.

Here's the sink. There's not much counter space, or drawer space, or ANY space in the bathroom, which kinda stinks, but I try to keep it as uncluttered as possible.

And at the end of the tour is just the shower. It was a little messy and I didn't clean it, so I kept the curtain closed.

Alrighty, the end! Haha. I know, it looks small, and it kind of is in comparison to say, The Ridge, but I like it. It's just the right size for us and plus, I don't really care where we live. As long as i've got a kitchen and my amazing husband, I'm good!
In other news, today was nice.
We got outside some more!
We intended to wake up at 7 and get to Denny's by 8, but instead we woke up at 8:15 and got there by 9:40ish.
In case you weren't aware, Denny's gave a free grand slam to every customer today from 6-2.
It was PACKED. I've never seen so many people at a Denny's.
Luckily, our wait was only maybe 15 minutes, we got seated, told them what drinks we wanted and how we wanted our eggs and soon thereafter we were drinking juice and eating pancakes.
We got out of there around 10:50, and it looked even busier than when we got there, which I wouldn't have been able to imagine.
Anyway, we then headed over to Ross.
I was hoping for a couple new shirts and some new skirts, but apparently NO ONE wears skirts up here (sarcasm much?) and Ross had maybe 6 skirts in stock, all either the wrong size or just plain nasty.
It was a little disappointing, but I did get some new shirts, which I REALLY needed.
We also got those pillows as I mentioned earlier.
Then we went into the mall, no skirts there either (or no skirts under 20 bucks) so we went into Game Stop, bought some new games, and headed out.
We were planning on going to Olive Garden for lunch, but we were still full, so we went into Big Lots, walked around there for a bit, bought some rootbeer and cream soda, and left there.
STILL full, we decided to not go to Olive Garden and just headed home.
And now on to tomorrow:
I'm going to vacuum!
Lol.
It'll be the first time using our new vacuum, so i'm pretty excited.
I'm also excited to suck up all the salt by the front door.
Stupid snow and ice.
Alright, that's the end of my long blog!
And now YOU should blog.
Seriously, whoever you are, if you had enough time to read my blog about some couch pillows, you should have time to blog too!
Thanks!
:)

First we see our couch. I have to say, it is not very comfortable at all, but when Brad and I were shopping at Ross today, we decided to buy some comfy pillows for it, so here they are.

Feeling all right.... oh yeah.
So, I watched the superbowl yesterday.
Sort of.
I mostly tuned out during the football stuff and watched the commercials.
Then I fell asleep during the last half.
Bruce Springsteen just made me so tired.
Ok.
It bores me to even write about football.
On to more exciting stuff....
Shopping tomorrow!
Lol.
Apparently Dennys is giving out free Grand Slams to everyone tomorrow, so Brad and I are waking up early and driving out to Dennys in Idaho Falls for it.
And since I can't really wear ANY of my clothes anymore, we're gonna hit up Ross.
Finally i'll be able to stop wearing the same 3 shirts everyday.
Then, I'm' trying to convince Brad to go out to lunch at Olive Garden for soup, salad, and breadsticks.
Stupid Olive Garden commercials are on every 5 minutes and i've been craving it so much!!!
So, tomorrow should be fun and eventful.
Then this weekend, we'll probably be heading out to Utah.
It's my cousin's wedding and we weren't sure if we were going to go or not, but apparently Brad's dad and sister will be in Utah too, so we'll be able to see them on top of the wedding, so I decided we were going to go.
I'll just have to ask my aunt Katherine if we can stay at her house, since Jenna's will be full.
And THEN, in two weeks, Brad and I will be going to the cannery in IF, cleaning the temple, and doing sealings.
It's exciting to actually have plans!
Plus, my parents are supposedly coming up here sometime this month, so that should be fun too!
Especially if Jordyn and Avery get to come (wink to Laura).
Let's see... What else have we been up to...
We ordered some prints from Walmart of our Reception pictures.
Then I can finally fill up some up these empty photo frames that are sitting around.
Brad and I REALLY need to get our thank you cards done.
Problem is, we both have really crappy handwriting, so I apologize in advance for both the lateness of the cards and the chicken scratch found inside.
We're learning that Family History can be pretty tedious.
Especially when the same person is in there 5 times and you have to merge them all!
But hopefully it'll be worth it in the end to have a little bit more knowledge of our families.
I'm REALLY excited for Smallville this week.
Supposedly it's the last episode Lana will be in.
Yay!
Ok.
I'm running low on filler info.
I'm going to make an effort to blog more often.
After all, I really don't have anything better to do.
:)

Cold?
Well, Brad and I have been making an effort to get out of the apartment more.
Well, I'VE been making more of an effort anyways, with objections from Brad.
But anyway, I just don't want to get apartment fever.
Other than normal shopping at the grocery store or having to buy random things from the drugstore, we hadn't been doing anything at all.
However, a couple nights ago, I told Brad we should go out for dinner, so we went to Craigos.
It was pretty good, but there's not as much crust as there used to be (economy?) so it wasn't as tasty in my opinion.
Still nice to actually go somewhere and sit down and eat food without the TV on in front of us.
My brother asked if we wanted to go out and play racquetball yesterday, but Brad didn't want to, so we didn't.
But today my brother called again, so after my visiting teachers came over, my brother came by to pick us up and we went ice skating.
:D
I love ice skating!!
Then we went back to my brother's apartment, made sushi, and played some Wii.
We should be going to the movies soon too.
Yes, Man.
Hopefully it's funny.
Anyway, that's just a little quick update for now.
Once I clean up our bedroom, i'll take some pictures of our apartment and put them up on here.

Sorry!
I know, I know.
It's been a LONG time since i've really update on here.
Even my husband has updated more recently than me!
Anyway, both the wedding and the reception went well.
It was a little chilly and windy on our wedding day, but there was nothing that could get me down.
There is no doubt that it was the happiest day of my life thus far.
We stayed in Vegas for a couple days in my parents timeshare.
I love the penthouses there. :)
Yay for jacuzzi's on the balcony.
Anyway, then we went down and stayed at my parents for a few days until the reception the following saturday.
It was nice to see a lot of my relatives that I haven't seen in a long time.
We got some sweet gifts (we still need to send out thank you cards :/ ).
Now we're all moved in up in Rexburg, for the most part anyways.
We've still got a few things to finish unpacking and put away which for now are stacked in the living room closet, but we'll get it done soon.
Our ward seems pretty good and the bishop seems like a nice guy.
We haven't really hung out with anyone yet, so sorry to all our friends out there!
We're just relaxing for a bit after months of wedding madness.
Well, we're going to the temple later today and life is good.
:)
I was going to include some photos in here, but they're all on my facebook, so why bother?
Lol.
I will post soon about our apartment though.
As soon as we put all the finishing touches on everything, i'll take some pictures and I WILL post them on here.

I realize...
...that I should probably post about the wedding first, but since Jenna tagged me, i'll just get that done.
1. Where did you meet your husband?
Well, I was sitting in the living room of my apartment at Legacy Ridge with some of my roommates when there was a knock on the door. It was this super geeky looking guy from the ward who came to set up appointments with the bishop for us since we had callings. Then of course Ana, my incredibly...outgoing... roommate asked him where he went on his mission and he said Riverside, California, and I started freaking out because that's the mission I live in, etc... Then I got called to do the ward bulletin, and since Brad was the Executive Secretary, he had been doing it, so he "trained" me on how to do it, and since I had to be there freaking early in the morning and Church wasn't until 1, Brad and I would just hang out and play Sudoku after the bulletin was done.
2. How long did you date before you got married?
Like 6 months?
3. How long have you been married?
About 4 days!
4. What does he do to surprise you?
I dunno. He doesn't surprise me that often. He's not creative enough. Haha! I love you Brad!
5. What is your favorite feature of his?
Probably his gorgeous blue eyes. I could look into them forever. And I do. All the time. Haha.
6.What is your favorite quality?
He's so relaxed and easy-going! Even though it can be a little frustrating when he can never think of anything to do, it's still nice that we never fight or get too stressed about anything!
7. Does he have a nickname for you?
Not really. Maybe later.
8. What is his favorite food?
I don't think he has an actual favorite. I know he likes Salmon. Lol. And pasta. Pizza. You know, basic yummy foods like that.
9. What is his favorite sport?
Probably golf.
YAWN.
10. When and where did you first kiss?
I honestly don't remember the actual day! Lol.
I know it was in June sometime, a couple weeks after we started "dating." It was on my couch in the living room though. We were cuddling and he said "Would it be awkward if I kissed you?" and I leaned in and laid one on him in response.
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Just sit around and hold each other. I know, we're so sickeningly sweet. I think some people perceive us as boring when we just sit and do nothing, but we thoroughly enjoy it!
12. Do you have children?
Not yet! Soon I hope!
13. Does he have any hidden talents?
He doesn't really hide his talents.
14. How old is he?
OLD! Haha. He's 24, turning 25 in March.
15. Who said I love you first?
He did. And I lied and said it back. At the time, I didn't even really have those kind of feelings for him at all honestly! I felt so horrible for lying, so I told him the truth, and then a couple weeks later, I realized that I DID love him, so I told him. :)
16. What is his favorite music?
He likes a variety, like me.
17. What do you admire most about him?
He's the most caring man I know. Seriously.
18. What is his favorite color?
If he had to choose, it would be blue.
19. Will he read this?
Definitely.

Happy New Year takes on a whole new meaning...
Today is the first day of 2009, and it seriously still feels like 2007!
I can't believe how fast the past couple years of my life has gone by!
It's weird to imagine what happened even just one year ago.
My last new year was not a happy memory, and I feel like i've become a completely different person since then.
What's weirder is thinking about two new years ago.
Funny how I was in basically the same situation.
And yet, here I am, January 1st 2009, and I don't even know who I was back then.
I know most of it is because of Brad.
He makes me want to be so much better, and I am more and more happy with my life and with who I am every single day.
And with Brad and my wedding just two days away, I know that this year will be the best i've had so far.
And I can't even imagine how much more i'm going to progress.
Nothing seems planned at all for the actual wedding day, and i'm starting to freak out a little bit about it.
I'm sure everything will work out just fine, but in the meantime it's pretty stressful.
Especially since we've 2 days left, and on plans for what's going on before I need to be at the temple at 12.
What everyone will do until the actual sealing ceremony at 3:30.
What we're going to be doing after the ceremony.
Will there be a dinner?
Who will be taking pictures?
When is everyone leaving?
Who all is even coming?
The worst part is that i've got so many people asking me these questions over and over again, but I don't have any answers!
So stop asking please!
